For more than 20 years our son Ari has participated in programs put on by a local nonprofit called The Friendship Circle. Friendship Circle brings together children, teens and now adults with special needs like Ari, with teen volunteers who want to make a difference. WalkWithFC.com/TeamAri

Everyone benefits from Friendship Circle: Volunteers learn emotional maturity, responsibility, and compassion, individuals with special needs develop social skills, experience acceptance and individualized attention and learn that they make a difference. The community at large is transformed and you get to be part of making this all happen. We all become one big circle.

On Sunday, Sept 29th Ari, Mindy and I will be walking in the annual Friendship Circle WalkWithFC.
